Even Calabria is represented at Cernobbio WMF 2019, which is being held for the second time in Cernobbio, in the province of Como, from the 25th to the 27th September. The Lombard city has been the permanent seat of the assembly since last year. “The World Manufacturing Forum was founded in 2011 as a worldwide platform to talk about manufacturing, industry policy and to indicate to politicians, listening to the voice of business, what actions should be taken to keep the manufacturing sector as a driver of social welfare and well-being in the world “, as Marco Taisch, Scientific Chairman of the World Manufacturing Forum, explained to Innovation Post.
WMF’s mission is to promote innovation and development in manufacturing, with the fundamental objective of improving competitiveness in all countries.
Agrofood, Life Science, Green Industry, Metalworking and investment opportunities in SEZ areas (Special Economic Zones): these are areas in which Calabria invests, and will be presented during the forum.
Biotecnomed will participate on the 26th and 27th, and will host the B2B meetings between the regional delegation and a number of international investors from Japan, USA, Australia, Singapore, India, Canada, China, and Belgium.
