Posted on the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) website is a new public tender for the granting of subsidies for the work of private companies carrying out research.
The aim is to support, by public subsidy, the operation of private research institutions to ensure their continuity and integrity of management.
In particular, the tender is aimed at financing private entities which, by the expiry date of this announcement, will have obtained at least three years as a recognised legal entity, and which are developing, as an overriding statute purpose and not for profit, research aimed at expanding cultural, scientific and technical knowledge, which is not related to specific and immediate industrial or commercial objectives and is also produced through post-graduate training activities specifically intended for research.
The selected companies will be included in a special list which has three-year validity (Table Triennale 2017-2019) and every institution will be awarded a contribution which will vary between 30,000 euro and 60,000 euro every year, equal to 60% of permitted operating costs.
The deadline for the application is scheduled for 12th October 2017.
