The US government, through theUSAID Federal Agency (United States Agency for International Development) has activated a financial assistance program aimed at facing the ongoing epidemiological emergency and developing the production capacity of the national industrial fabric.
The program foresees total appropriations for 50 Millions of dollars, intended among other activities, to support the Italian companies who have launched or intend to launch research projects, development and production of therapies, vaccines, medical equipment and supplies aimed at addressing the Covid-19 virus, including interventions aimed at modifying activities and production chains to direct them towards the demand for products and services from medical staff and patients (budget available: 10 Millions of dollars).
