Terms and deadlines for granting Vouchers aimed at Internationalisation
The Ministry of Economic Development has specified the operational terms and the deadlines for requesting and granting the “Internationalisation Voucher”, aimed at supporting SMEs and networks of businesses in their access and consolidation strategies within international markets with 26 million in allocated resources, according to DM 17th July 2017.
The project consists of a non-repayable grant in favour of all those SMEs in southern Italy who intend to look at cross-border markets through a specialised person (the aforementioned Temporary Export Manager o TEM) who is able to plan and manage the processes and programmes in foreign markets. The companies then have to turn to a service supplier by choosing between those companies included in the specific list to be published on the Ministry’s website by the 20th December 2017.
There will be two types of support:
An “Early Stage” Voucher:
A voucher for an amount equal to 10,000 euros compared with a service contract of at least 13,000 exclusive of VAT. The service contract, which must be with one of the bodies listed in the Ministry’s TEM companies, must have a minimum duration of 6 months.
An “Advanced stage” Voucher:
A voucher for an amount equal to 15,000 euros compared with a service contract of at least 25,000 exclusive of VAT. The service contract, which must be entered into with one of the bodies listed in the Ministry’s TEM companies, must have a minimum duration of 12 months.
Those interested in being included in the accredited list of temporary company export managers (TEM) must apply from 10:00 on the 16th October 2017 until 16:00 on the 31st October 2017.
SMEs who instead wish to apply for vouchers, can start filling in their on-line application from 21st November 2017. The administration office is planned to open at 10:00 on the 28th November 2017.
