The pharmaceutical company Bayer has recently launched Grants4Apps Italy, a call to select business ideas and innovative startups in Life Sciences. These startups, in line with Bayer’s business objectives, should propose solutions that use digital technologies to improve the quality of life of people, plants and animals. At stake is an incubation opportunity in the company’s Milan office and a mentorship programme.
Registration is open until 30th June; the projects selected will receive an official communication via email and an invitation for their project to be presented on 12th July, during the awards event organized by Bayer in partnership with Microsoft.
The programme includes 100 days of incubation from 1st September in the G4A Innovation Lab which is in the new incubator company located in its Milan offices. And this is not all. For selected startups, as well as space and work tools, there is a mentorship programme with the company’s top managers and also Microsoft hardware and software, Official partner of G4A Innovation Lab.
Grants4Apps Italy is also an observatory dedicated to digital innovation in Life Sciences, in the fields of Health and Agriculture: the platform is a virtual showcase to present startups and their innovative projects to the world, and for Grants4Apps initiatives both nationally and globally. Furthermore, as part of G4A global initiatives, with the launch of the Innovation Lab G4A, Italy will open the fifth active coworking space in Europe, the ninth globally.
