“The thematic platforms of the S3 and new opportunities for innovation” is the title of the event scheduled for 16th May next at 14:30 in the green room of the Citadel Regional.
Through this meeting Calabria means to continue the path of implementation of the Smart Specialization Strategy (S3), the strategic document which aims to improve the effectiveness of public policies for research and innovation, enhancing areas and market niches where the region demonstrates competitive advantages and potential for business development.
The regional thematic platforms represent the community of those working in the Strategy Innovation Areas of Intelligent Specialisation (S3) Calabria, They are part of governance S3 and constitute an instrument of support for the strategy’s implementation.
The meeting aims to present thematic platforms and principles of Calabria S3 governance, encouraging regional operators to actively participate in the issues concerning the strengthening of regional networks and, above all, to participate in national and European networks (technological clusters).
Secondly, the meeting is dedicated to the discussion of upcoming regional initiatives that will give new impetus to the Regional Innovation Network, through a reorganisation of Innovation Hubs in the S3 areas and the revitalisation of the tools for creating innovative start-ups and spin-offs from research.
