The first meeting of the thematic platform dedicated to S3 Life Sciences will be held on the 27th July at 14:30, in the ‘golden hall’ of the Regional Citadel
The Life Sciences Innovation area is characterized by both cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary strength. Calabria is an area of well-established research, often connected to national networks, but also to regional health care, with a good level of well equipped laboratories
The meeting’s starting point will be the experience of National Technological Cluster Alisei, whose Fabrizio Conicella will explain the road map network and illustrate the models of intervention and cooperation implemented by the cluster.
It will then move on to planned discussions of some research companies’ experiences of innovation and then to free discussion between participants and the platform, with the aim of identifying specialised issues and interdisciplinary connections in different areas of innovation (agribusiness, tourism, ICT, etc.), on which to build collaborative actions between regional SMEs, nursing and rehabilitation services, research centers and key external players. The meeting will be an opportunity to launch partnership opportunities in relation to the recently published notice from the Ministry of Education NOP Research and Innovation 2014-2020 which supports industrial research projects in 12 areas of national smart specialization strategy.
The final part of the meeting will lay the foundations of a shared work plan platform, via the participants’ proposals on which specific initiatives are to be implemented.
Specifically, a survey will be conducted to ascertain the level of excellence of technology in the health sector, to facilitate its sharing and optimum use within the terms of fuzzy logic, as well as organising cross-platform meetings on interdisciplinary themes (nutraceuticals, Welfare, etc.). More activities and initiatives will be identified on the basis of the participants’ contributions.
