The initial information document for the selection of the management personnel for the Innovation Clusters has been published. Within the scope of the ROP, a total allocation in excess of 32.5 million euros is expected.
Through this process, the Region of Calabria finances entertainment activities, mentoring and support of its members and the enhancement of regional research infrastructures. The latter activity is achieved by:
- the construction of new infrastructures of research which are of interest to the business system, and are able to join international networks and be self-sustaining over time
- the organisational consolidation of research laboratories, including those considered niche, in response to the specific needs of the regional and extra-regional production system identified in the Strategy of Intelligent Specialization (S3).
Therefore the Managing Personnel of the Innovation Clusters can make applications, represented by and also representing organisations in the form of consortia or enterprise networks. The investment focus of the subsidy should be created and located in the region itself.
