BIOMIND – Development of advanced diagnostic assays based on new BIOmarkers from liquid biopsy. A generalized workflow for connecting Medical Research to product INDustrialization Advanced Oncological Diagnostic Hub based on Radio-Bio-Genomic data AI-integrated Platform

Description:
The project's main objective is the development of diagnostic tests (certificates) based on the Liquid Biopsy technique (BL), analytical approach that allows you to operate within the framework of Precision Medicine, on four types of pathologies/classes of tumors (Diagnostic assays):
BRAF-mutated metastatic melanoma, bladder cancer, head and neck cancer, endometriosis.

The operational WorkFlow of the project, starting from a patent that correlates biomarker/pathology, aims at a significant increase in the starting TRL with an approach to the possibility of introducing the rates on the market up to the market. In terms of impacts on the healthcare system, the success of the initiative will provide a great benefit in terms of the identification of optimal therapies for patients suffering from the identified pathologies and represents an important challenge as a model of public/private collaboration in the field of translational biomedical research, with shared industrial exploitation, with a view to re-investing in the research itself and not just commercial exploitation.
